A Bit About Myself
Hello! My name is Shailyn Levon. I am a graduate of Full Sail University's Graphic Design Bachelor's Degree program.
Like many creatives, I have had a passion for art and creating ever since I was young. My first introduction into art was drawing.
Growing up, my parents designated a room for us kids to be able to draw on the walls. It was on those walls that my love for art was born. In a weird way, creating on something other than paper, really expanded what art could be to my younger self. From those walls I went on to paint, discover makeup, then fashion, then interior design. I explored what art could be, what it could do.
Finding graphic design expanded my mind yet again. I've always loved art and creativity, but until graphic design I had never thought that I could use my creativity to help others. Graphic design isn't just typography and color palettes; graphic design has the capacity to be a great tool for change and growth. It is the mouthpiece from which messages can be broadcasted and spread. It has the power to make people's lives better, in real tangible ways.
It is because of this, that I became a graphic designer. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help others build their businesses and connect with their audiences. I want to connect people to the products that will make their lives better. I want to utilize graphic design as the amazing tool for change that it is.
